Your encrypted file is stored in the Local Browser Store of your browser. This is a special local storage provided by each browser. Your data is strongly encrypted and never leaves your computer.
Other applications do not have access to this storage. This means that if you used a Chrome browser to save your passwords, then e.g. a firefox browser will not have access to your file.
If you want to access your encrypted password file on other devices, you can upload your encrypted file to our servers or to your dropbox. You can also save it to disk and load it into another device or browser.
We recommend that you periodically back up your encrypted file by saving it to local disk and then storing it where it will not get lost.
